Hi everyone,

Our conversation today is about my Granddaddy Adam Shaw, Sr.
He was born, in 1870, in Cohassett, to Great Grandmother Julie, who was freed from slavery, and later married Great Granddaddy Josh Boykin. Granddaddy was tall, with faint freckles and scant facial hair, big bones, and strong muscles. His character matched his strong physical characteristics. He had a personality with a fine mixture of warmth and authority, a straight face, a heart full of love, and worked hard at everything he did.

Granddaddy Adam Shaw, Sr. was a respected and loved husband and father in the Shaw family.
