Dear everyone,

After Daddy's and Annie Bell's marriage ceremony, there were good times for everyone.

Wedding guests greeted and hugged Daddy and Mama, who smiled happily, and then they and their guests ate lots of food and drank lemonade under the oak trees in Granddaddy’s acre front yard. Also, they fanned and talked, and caught up on the latest gossip, from miles around. After fellowshipping and lingering, the wedding festivities ended, shortly before sunset, and the wedding guests untied their mules from Granddaddy’s hitching posts, on the sides of his front yard, started up their Model-T Ford cars, or headed home by wagon or on foot.

Everyone enjoyed the wedding, and Daddy and Mama, a perfect match for each other and for their families, if such can be made, were the happiest ever.

The conclusion of what the wedding meant will be our next conversation.
