Hi everyone,

When Daddy arrived at the Florala bus station, he took his suitcase and walked the one mile to his home in Lockhart. When he opened the door, Beulah said, "I thought you were going to stay two weeks." He replied, “Annie Lee and Annie Bell have fulfilled my dream, and I did not need to stay any longer, but I could have.”

Daddy’s dream to see, where Mama and I had lived from 1945 to 1980 was satisfied, and he was ready to return home, and, after he arrived, without making a mistake changing busses, he was so very happy. For Daddy, that was a lot, and I am happy that I was privileged to make it happen for him.

I am always grateful in my thoughts about my loving Daddy, who liked to see everyone succeed and didn’t make references to himself.
