Hi everyone,
Daddy looked around for a hard-working woman with high morality. The most likely place he thought he could find this type of woman was at church. It so happened that Granddaddy Adam, Grand Mama Courtney, and Daddy and his sisters and brothers were members of Idumi Methodist Church, as were Mama and her guardians she called Uncle Sam and Mama Sarah. So, Daddy and Annie Bell met at Idumi Church, and he liked Annie Bell Rutherford.
