Hi everyone,

Bennie, our Granddaughter Gabrielle, and I went to Mount Rushmore in Black Hills, South Dakota.

Bennie, Trina, and I knew Mount Rushmore was the most patriotic place we had ever been. Walking around in the festive and historical setting and listening to the patriotic music made our American patriotism rise sky high. When we saw outstanding American presidents, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt, carved on the granite, we were ecstatic. Later, we stopped at the Crazy Horse Memorial in the Black Hills of South Dakota. While in Dakota, we went to Custer Park. Bennie, Gabrielle, and I rode in a fabulous jeep—sturdy and luxurious with a wide curvy windshield to see prairie dogs, buffaloes, and other animals.

But it was the awesome granite wall at Mount Rushmore with presidents carved on the granite, American flags waving everywhere, and the sounds our American patriotic songs that enhanced our favoritism and, as far as I know, we experienced the most patriotic setting in America.

Soon, thereafter, our Granddaughter Gabrielle went to an excellent and plush college preparatory school in a plush Atlanta, Georgia community and to an Ivy League college in the north east and graduated in 2014.

Now, I write to thank all of you who followed the blogs about my family, and I hope you enjoyed each.

When I resume blogging, I will let you know and I hope you will join me for the new conversation.
